As part of our 35th anniversary celebrations, we’re proud to launch the Macleod Roofing Community Fund — a new initiative dedicated to giving back to the Highlands. From sports teams and school projects to local events and vital causes, we’re here to support the people and places that have supported us.
To amplify our impact, we have established the Macleod Roofing Community Fund, an initiative designed to provide essential support and funding for local projects across the Highlands.
We encourage you to reach out, whether you are enhancing a local facility, organising a community event, or offering support to those in need.
Together, we can make a difference.
Hear experiences from who has benefited from the fund
Whether large or small, we welcome applications from groups dedicated to helping others and making a difference in their communities.
From sports teams and arts groups to social clubs and volunteer networks, we support those who bring people together and strengthen local connections.
If you're creating opportunities for young people through education, activities, or development programs, we’d love to support your efforts.
Any project that directly benefits people living in the Highlands — no matter how big or small — is encouraged to apply. If it helps the community, it matters to us.
As part of our Armed Forces Covenant commitment, we offer one to two pro bono or discounted roof repairs each year for veterans or military families in need across the Highlands. We assess each request based on urgency and impact.
We want to learn about your project, the support you envision, and the positive impact it will bring to our local community.
We're looking for causes that go beyond a quick win — whether you're improving a local space, supporting young people, or helping a community thrive long-term, we want to hear about it.
If your project is led with integrity, ambition, and a focus on making a meaningful difference, you're speaking our language. We want to back people who care as much as we do.
You don’t need a 20-page business plan — but we’d love to see that your idea is clear, realistic, and ready to roll. The more prepared you are, the easier it is for us to say yes!
We want to learn about your project, the support you envision, and the positive impact it will bring to our local community.
We’re proud to support The Archie Foundation in delivering two meaningful projects at Raigmore Hospital’s Children’s Unit – the funding of a Bilicocoon Phototherapy Bag System for gentler jaundice treatment, and supporting plans for sky scene LED panels in A&E to create a calmer, more welcoming space for children. Giving back to our community means everything to us — especially when it helps make a hard time a little easier.
We believe in supporting organisations that empower young people to thrive. By supplying and fitting a new kitchen and providing laptops to Nansen Highland, we wanted to enhance their efforts in helping young people with learning difficulties build life skills and independence. It’s about giving back and backing those who make a real difference.
At Macleod Roofing, we believe that supporting local charities not only strengthens the fabric of our community but also fosters a sense of connection and belonging. That’s why we donated £10,000 to kick-start their Dragon’s Den fundraiser and help smaller charities in our community.
Macleod Roofing was thrilled to sponsor the Ross County Girls and Women FC Under 16s away strip, as we believe in fostering the growth and development of young female athletes in our community. By providing this sponsorship, we aim to empower these talented players, encouraging them to pursue their passion for football and to build confidence both on and off the pitch.
Recognising the everyday heroes among us is something we hold dear. By sponsoring categories like ‘Charity Fundraiser of the Year’ and ‘Healthcare Hero’ at the Highland Heroes Awards, we aimed to celebrate the remarkable individuals who go above and beyond for our community.
We admire those who step up to raise awareness and funds for important causes. By backing participants in this event, we wanted to help amplify their efforts and ensure that the charitable impact of the Ness Factor reached as many people as possible. It’s about standing behind those who are making a difference.
Providing new kits for the U16 St Duthus Football Club players was our way of showing support for the next generation. We wanted these young athletes to feel proud and confident as they take to the field, knowing that their community is behind them. It’s about fostering unity, discipline, and a love for the game.
We admire those who put themselves out there to make a difference, and we wanted to be part of that journey. By supporting this event, we contributed to the ripple effect that benefits so many charities and individuals in our area.
We believe in honouring those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms. By donating materials for this meaningful artwork, we wanted to create a lasting tribute to their memory. The poppy stands as a powerful reminder for all of us to appreciate the peace and community we have today.
We believe that football is more than just a game; it’s a powerful way to bring people together, foster teamwork, and instil values of dedication and perseverance in young athletes. Together, we’re not just supporting a football club; we’re investing in the future of our community.
When we learned about the efforts to redesign the journey to the operating theatre at Raigmore Hospital, we knew it was something we wanted to support. Contributing to this project was our way of helping to bring a little comfort and courage to these young patients and their families.
Sponsoring the U15 Highland Rugby team’s tour to Belfast was about more than just funding a trip – it was about giving these young athletes an opportunity to grow, learn, and create lifelong memories. We wanted to be part of their journey, helping to build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of pride in what they can achieve.
Supporting the Celebrating Amy Team and Highland Hospice through Blue Lights Got Talent was our way of helping to provide essential care and comfort to families in need. We know how much of a difference organisations like these can make, and we’re proud to be part of their mission to offer hope and support in our community.
Every animal deserves care and a safe place to call home, especially in times of crisis. Supporting Munlochy Animal Aid was our way of ensuring that vulnerable animals continued to receive the love and shelter they needed. It’s about showing compassion not just for people, but for all living beings in our community.
We wanted to help break down barriers and bring a sense of freedom and connection to those who might otherwise feel isolated. Sponsoring a trike was our way of promoting inclusivity and making sure everyone in our community can share in the simple joys of life.
We want to learn about your project, the support you envision, and the positive impact it will bring to our local community.
