Cawdor Castle was an ambitious slating project which necessitated working to strict time limits. The castle roof was re-slated in its entirety and there was also considerable stonework restoration throughout, returning this historical castle to its former glory.
We transformed this popular local facility, replacing the original 1970’s bituminous coverings with the world’s most advanced single ply roofing system. The Alwitra system brings together every component necessary for the ultimate in innovative roof design, with a range of products that are finely engineered to work in harmony, resulting in a life expectancy in excess of 25 years.
This innovatively designed, uniquely built contemporary home used the Alwitra Single Ply System, ideally suited to this bespoke, butterfly style roof.
Always keen to offer new and innovative roofing systems, the grass roof on this newly built outbuilding merges into the surrounding beauty of Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve.
An impressive, large scale development overlooking the city of Inverness and beyond to Ben Wyvis, this project was on site for three years and demanded tight controls over scheduling of our ever present workforce and material procurement to keep the production line flowing smoothly.
This attractive new build development in the village of Auldearn successfully blends modern concrete roof tiles and dry fix ancillary components with natural timber and glass to create a harmonious whole.
We completely transformed this 1960’s built detached villa in a lovely setting on the outskirts of Invermorriston. Gone are the decrepit concrete roof tiles and felt flat roofed dormer and in come new natural slates and larch linings to the newly pitched dormer and new entrance porch. These natural materials blend in harmoniously with the woodland setting near the shores of Loch Ness.
We certainly gave this prominent building in Inverness’s city centre a make over. From top to toe, painted and pointed, slated and leaded – THE WORKS
We carried out the slatework on The Ironworks, a custom built live music and event venue in the heart of Inverness. The project, which was completed in 2006, is now the pre-eminent live music venue in the city.
We used the Marley Waterproofing, Mach 1 Single Ply System extensively throughout this overlay project at Thurso High School. The system is ideally suited to an overlay project, being rapid and relatively straightforward to install, resulting in a minimum amount of time on site which is essential on school projects.
